• The Wimbledon tournament is organized in London and begins the last week of June. The matches are played on grass. It is also the oldest tennis tournament ever organized since it began in 1877. The American Pete Sampras and the Swiss Roger Federer are the two tennis players to have won the most titles at this tournament.
• The US Open is organized in New York. The meetings start the last week of August and are organized on a hard surface, the Decorturf. The season therefore closes with this last tournament. In the list of the record number of titles won, we find, once again, the legends Federer and Sampras.
